Exclusive Dave commission ‘Argumental’ kicked off it’s second series with a healthy opening audience of 270,000, who watched guests Dara O’ Briain and Chris Addison fight it out over questions about Will Smith and bodybuilders. BARB figures confirm that, with a base of UK Individuals, the show is 67% more likely to attract 16-24 Men and nearly 20% more likely to attract ABC1 men – you can’t argue with that!


LIVING: Exclusive new commision ‘Eleventh Hour’ promises audience-snatching drama from the US

LIVING has picked up exclusive UK rights to the new US success ‘Eleventh Hour’. From CSI producer Jerry Bruckheimer, it’s one of the most popular new shows in the new US season, averaging a massive 12 million viewers on American channel CBS. LIVING Head Of Commissions Amy Barham noted that the show is ‘strong, compelling and with hard-hitting storylines’ and is a ‘great addition to the LIVING drama line-up’.


Dave: New Red Dwarf promises galactic laughs, from April 10

The return of cult BBC comedy Red Dwarf is getting close, and early signs prove the anticipation is sky high. From a teaser site with exclusive content launching two weeks ago to lengthy articles in British broadsheets. The Emmy-award winning space show last aired ten years ago and the two brand-new episodes air at 9pm from April 10-11th with a Red Dwarf documentary following the night after. It’s going to be smegging great!


UKTV: The newest rebrands promise to be ‘Really’ good

UKTV is continuing it’s huge rebranding exercise in the coming months with two of it’s lifestyle channels getting a makeover. First up, at the end of April, is UKTV Style that is cementing it’s DIY , design and gardening offering and becoming Home. . The second rebrand, a few weeks later, is the complete redesign of UKTV Gardens to Really – a female targeted channel that UKTV director of factual, lifestyle and new media, Jane Mote describes as a ‘zeitgeisty and noisy female brand’.
